Our Helms College Saturday Chef cooking classes, part of Helms College Continuing Education, have been a huge success — and we have saved the best for last! We are now accepting enrollment for our final class of 2016, Thanksgiving Made Easy, taking place on Saturday, November 12 from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm.
This class will enable you to get started early in your planning to execute a perfect holiday meal. Our Helms College chef instructor will guide you in a hands-on experience of learning how to properly brine and roast a turkey, prepare honey-glazed ham, make homemade dressing, create classic mashed potatoes and cornbread casserole, and cook classic green bean almondine. Bring your appetite as there will be much to sample!
The cost is just $75 per person including materials, ingredients, utensils and supplies. You will learn under the guidance of some of the best in the cooking industry in the Augusta area and be able to use your newly acquired knowledge to create a memorable holiday meal.

Each participant in our Saturday Chef cooking classes will have a hands-on opportunity for culinary education, and by the end of each class will be able to impress family and friends with new cooking techniques in their home kitchen.
