It’s not too late to enroll in our upcoming Saturday Chef class — Cupcakes!

Helms College Saturday Chef Cupcake ClassOur Helms College Saturday Chef classes are in full swing with an exciting menu of cooking classes for residents of the CSRA.  We invite you to enroll in one or more of our hands-on community cooking classes,  taught by professional chefs in the Augusta School of Hospitality culinary labs. Each class explores a specific genre of cooking and is built not only to inform, but also to entertain as you enjoy your culinary creations.

Saturday Chef class CupcakesOur next Saturday Chef class at the Augusta campus of Helms College is from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 23. It’s all about the cupcakes in this class as our professional chefs show you how to prepare different flavors and offer simple decorating techniques that will have your creations looking like they were prepared by a professional. Participants will go home with a dozen of their self-prepared delights to share. Classes cost just $75 per person.

Each of our community classes focuses on different areas of cooking, giving you the skills necessary to please everyone from the weekend gourmet chef to those individuals considering training for a culinary career. Helms College Saturday Chef classes are open to the public and class sizes are limited to keep student-to-instructor ratios small, so be sure to register early. It’s a fun afternoon that would be great with a friend or your significant other! It will be an entertaining and tasty event for those eager to learn new culinary skills.
