Preparing students for a career in the culinary arts with a hands-on approach to learning sets Helms College apart from other culinary schools. We invite you to preview this for yourself during our open house. The Polly Long Denton School of Hospitality, at 5171 Eisenhower Drive in Macon, and the Helms College School of Hospitality in Augusta, at 3145 Washington Road, will hold open house on Thursday, December 17th from 5-7 pm. These informative events provide the opportunity for prospective students and their families to tour the campuses, meet instructors, and talk to representatives from admissions and financial aid for information about enrollment.
Our comprehensive, seamless educational foundations give students the knowledge and skills needed to enter into a career in culinary arts. You will gain hands-on experience in our cafes, conference centers and restaurants – essential components of Helms College’s culinary teaching facility, bringing education and the art of business and food together. The Augusta School of Hospitality and the Polly Long Denton School of Hospitality offer Associate Degree and Diploma programs.
Financial aid, Title IV funding and VA education benefits are available to those who qualify. Enrollment is underway for the next classes, which start Jan. 11. Helms College is operated by Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA.
