Preparing students for a career in the culinary arts with a hands-on approach to learning sets Helms College apart from other culinary schools in the area. We invite you to preview this for yourself during our fall open house festivities. The Polly Long Denton School of Hospitality in Macon will host their open house September 18 from 1- 4pm at the Anderson Conference Center, the Augusta School of Hospitality will host its open house on September 25 from 1- 4pm at the Snelling Center. These informative events provide the opportunity for prospective students and their families to tour the campuses, meet instructors, and talk to representatives from admissions and financial aid for information about enrollment.
Our comprehensive, seamless educational foundations give students the knowledge and skills needed to enter into a career in culinary arts. You will gain hands-on experience in our cafe, conference center and restaurant – essential components of Helms College’s culinary teaching facility, bringing education and the art of business and food together. The Augusta School of Hospitality offers culinary certificate and diploma programs. Certificate, diploma and associates degree programs in culinary arts are provided at the Polly Long Denton School of Hospitality.
Financial aid is available for those who qualify and all of the programs are nationally accredited and eligible for Title IV funding VA education benefits are a variable in Macon. Enrollment is underway for the next classes, which start October 6. Helms College is a subsidiary of Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia.
