Helms College is devoted to preparing students for a career in the culinary arts; our hands-on approach to learning is unlike any culinary school curriculum in the area. The Polly Long Denton School of Hospitality in Macon will welcome prospective students to tour our facilities during open house events set for 2-6 p.m. on June 19. Prospective students and their families are invited to tour the campuses, meet instructors, and talk admissions and financial aid representatives for information. Refreshments prepared by our current students will be served giving attendees the opportunity to speak with students enrolled at Helms College to gain insight into our unique and enriching programs.
Certificate, diploma and associate degree programs in culinary arts are provided at the Polly Long Denton School of Hospitality. Our comprehensive, seamless educational foundations give students the knowledge and skills needed to enter a career in culinary arts. Our classes will prepare you with the basics in culinary arts that include intensive hands-on training in various settings. You will gain experience in our cafe, conference center and restaurant – essential components of Helms College’s culinary teaching facility that bring education and the art of business and food together.
All of our programs are nationally accredited and eligible for Title IV funding and VA education benefits with financial aid available for those who qualify. Enrollment is underway for summer classes, which begin July 7.
