At the open house, prospective students were able to meet with current Helms College students.

We recently held our open house for summer classes at both Helms College locations. Summer classes will commence on July 8th. If you missed out on attending the open house, it is not too late to set your dreams of a career in the culinary arts in motion. We are still enrolling students for our summer classes as part of the culinary arts diploma program, which is a 44-week program, as well as our restaurant fundamentals certificate program, which is a 22-week program.

Our culinary programs will prepare you with the basics in culinary arts that include intensive hands-on training in various settings. You will gain experience in our cafe, conference center and restaurant each an essential part of Helms College’s culinary teaching facility that brings education and the art of business and food together.

The Macon, GA Polly’s Hospitality Institute and the Augusta School of Hospitality provide a real world education that opens the door to real careers in the culinary field. Helms College prepares students to test for the Culinary certifications by the prestigious American Culinary Foundation (ACF). Our highly qualified faculty have years of hands-on industry experience combined with a technical background and each of our chef instructors hold ACF certifications.
